Sure hope my Bruins get another crack at the Canes this year in the playoffs. I'd take a series against TB as well. I think my team would beat either one.
What a gritty effort. No Hedman, no Cirelli, and Paul had to leave with an injury-and still came THIS close to pulling out a win against an enormously talented Canes team. Carolina absolutely dominated 5v5 play-Vasi was the only reason why the Lightning kept it close (53 SAVES!), yet another example of why he's the best goalie in the galaxy (sorry Shesterkin). All in all, really tough game, but a magnificent performance by Vasi to get them a point (PK also came up with some HUGE kills, particularly the 4-on-3 in OT). Canes-Lightning never disappoints.

Tough loss but I’ll take the point. Lightning still need to clean some things up. They were outplayed but they had a lead late and gave up a shorty.
