As a buffalo native, we’re a dedicated and passionate fan base, we loved Eichel, but it was a bad breakup. Deep down we all want to see him do well, but the way he left has a bad taste in our mouths. Yeah, we boo, when he has the puck, same way the isle fans boo when Tavares plays, it’s part of the game. Buffalo fans are some of the classiest in the game, and never you mind who disagrees. Haters gonna hate, is what it is. Our time is coming.

LOL if he hated Buffalo so much, why did he stay so long? Having a great season, good for him, scoring on former team, even better; thats hockey for ya!! On another note, buffalo has a great fanbase but horrible franchise perhaps 1 of the least successful franchises in the NHL. Players that want to win a SC are not gunna stay in Buffalo for long, good team for short term great salary to start a career or closer to ending a career. I would actually love to see which teams are most commonly on the 10 team No Move Clause amongst NHL players; am confident Buffalo is one of the most common. Their having a pretty decent season considering their last ~20 seasons, but then again many teams have started off much better too
