McDavid goal was cool, rest of the game sucked. Refs weren’t good to us but when they play like that doesn’t really matter. They need Keith and Russel, they can’t keep it together for a full 60.
What a garbage game. Not sure what their problem is. Between Soup and our defence, we can't keep the puck out of our net.

Holland needs to be fire for signing Campbell to that money 5×5 for a backup goalie that's why the leafs never sign him there no way the oilers make the playoffs they should bench Jay he's not a good coach try Mason and for some reason Holland made this team worse

Brutal, just plain brutal!! JP and Yamo ain’t the answer on RW. Holland shouldn’t of signed Campbell to a 5yr contract. We in a shit load of a mess. Can’t see us making the playoffs this year until Campbell, Barrie, JP and Yamo are gone. Nurse doesn’t deserve 9+ million which is hurting the team the most of all. We should of lost to Tampa as well, but the bounces were totally in our favour that game.
Way too many passengers these days and too many turnovers and horrible puck management. I think in regards to Campbell, we need to do what we did in McDavid’s rookie year in 15-16 Where Talbot who was supposed to be the clear cut #1 struggled out of the gate, and we sat him often and played Andres Nillson more for a period of time, and then Talbot regained his form and turned his performance around, I think it’s time to run with Skinner more now In the interim. I agree a bit early to hit the panic button, but if our Defense and lack of scoring from players not numbered 97, 29, 93 and 18, doesn’t get rectified, i think it’s time for Holland to look at external options especially with LTIR cap available with the Kane injury. Nevertheless got to take it one game at a time, but have to turn this ship around sooner than later.
Well I said it earlier some changes need to be made.. first thing I'd do is make a trade. Campbell Koekoe Murry and Fogel to San Jose. In return James Riemer Harrington and LeBlanc. Shake the team up and go from there
Good thing 97 & 29 were on pace to break NHL playoff scoring records last year otherwise our GM and his conflict of interests assistant GM son would be out of their jobs. Softest NHL team that I have ever seen with still literally 0 experienced pure "Stay at Home Dmen". I'm glad 97 convinced Hyman to sign and for Kane(signed by default 0 credit to GM) to stay.

It's often a Complete Circus in the Oilers' defensive zone … when is there going to be some kind of consistency in their defensive play? (And that's not just on the young defensemen.) … Some of their forwards also need to start exploiting their scoring chances – I think they had 5 breakaway plays in tonight's game. … Consistency is severely lacking in this Oiler team … lacking to the point of ridiculous. … And the Golden Knights are now 10 points up on them – forget about challenging for 1st place in the division.
It hurts me to see you hurt like this 😫 the oilers hopefully turn it around when we play thfall panthers. Maybe the oilers were rattled after Evander Kane getting a potentially life ending career ending injury. They will meet him in Florida so maybe he gears up the team.

I think we need to turn Draisaitl into the Captain. We need someone to lead this team and its clear that McDavid isn't getting the team more emotionally invested into each game. Let Connor do his thing and give Draisaitl the lead.
The Oilers almost have a Buddhist attitude at times and are content to just meander through a period or two and then when the opposition decides to make a rush they just defend and soft pass through the center of ice where it is inevitably intercepted and brought back into Edmonton's end.
Where is their hearts? Where is the passion to overcome adversity?
Some games they have it in spades and other games like tonight its like they were all told their parents died…..just laziness and lack of passion! We need someone who can light a fire under their ass and gtf going! Hell! drop some of the lazier players and get Patrick Kane over here! He can rally a team.
Look what Chicago can do with only a handful of decent players! Of course, they don't have a stacked roster like Edmonton has but without a clear leader to rally the players, its like sending an army to rush out and conquer an objective with 6 Sergeants who don't wanna lead and the rest Privates who don't know how to lead.
That game stunk . 3 games in 4 nights and some Oilers are playing to many minutes. Holloway needs time in the minors . The Bison king should not be on the top 6. Campbell and defence were brutal. Hopefully a better effort in Florida. When you play this bad you can only improve. Keep your chin up and keep the vids rolling.
Holland is now in a weak position to try and trade, plus has he ever won a trade since he got here. This is a train wreck.
Okay okay the Oilers just have to change goalie and straight up the defense!! Fix the problem instead of just watching it happen ! Go Oilers Go . Keep believing in OILERS !
