When will the NHL get rid of the "distinct kicking motion" rule? It's so stupid. There's no advantage to kicking the puck vs using a stick. It's not dangerous considering how much padding they all wear, especially the goalies. It's just a pointless rule that results in less offence, and needs to go the way of the 2-line pass.

I absolutely love watching Rangers games from the Garden, partly for the inimitable NY fans. I'd love to get tickets for a Friday night game to soak it in & be part of it. This years team is so dang fun to watch. They have become Cup-worthy. I can't imagine that fabulous crowd in the finals. It's worth 1 win alone, by itself.
The announcers were favoring Toronto over the Rangers throughout the first period then the second period started Toronto hit a wall and the announcers changed their tone somewhat. This is the building of a strong franchise. Peace.
