Sports will be much better when the egos of referees are gone. They don't go back on their decision just to make sure they don't lose face. It's ridiculous.
Montreal losing to teams that are significantly better than they are is easy (and it's going to happen a lot), but NOBODY wants to lose to a cellar-dweller like the Arizona (State University) Coyotes (even if those Coyotes are playing much better than everyone expected them to). Still…better hand them a point, just to be safe, because that point could be pretty significant in the Bedard sweepstakes in a few months. Montreal is a 0.500 team right now, but given how much they're relying on rookies in their D-corps, and the fact that rookies are almost NEVER very good down the stretch (they've never had to deal with the grind of an NHL schedule before, so they typically start to falter post-All Star Game), I expect them to finish in the 70-75 point region, meaning that if they don't win one of the lotteries, they will be selecting anywhere between 5th and 10th overall, while having a 10% to 17% chance at winning A lottery, and selecting either 1st or 2nd overall. That's not a bad outcome in a rebuilding year.

Guhle gets the stick slashed out of his hands and the 7-11 employees moonlighting as refs once again ignore it and it results in a goal .
Ok I honestly didn't know we were playing tonight, but we won, so that's nice #GoHabsGo
Well close game. Montreal were. Lucky.
A good win for the Habs.
