The proof is in the pudding. The youth on this team has taken big steps this year. Gallant's reputation precedes him. He's an excellent coach in a lot of ways. I hope, he has a long tenure here, and feelings don't get in the way of that.
Best move of the off-season was hiring this guy as head coach. The team would be spinning their wheels if Quinn was still coaching them. Gallant has been successful everywhere he's coached. He's taken this team to the next level and as long as he's here I think Rangers will contend every season not just for the playoffs but soon enough (if not this year) the Cup as well. The future looks bright indeed. LGR!!
New York Rangers picked up a couple of strong players in this trade deal. I like where this organization's mind is at compared to last year. First Gallant, then Reeves, and now Copp and Vatrano. With all of the talent NYR's have, there is no reason for New York to fall in the first round. LGR
