Toronto outplayed Detroit. Took the game to the red wings. It was only the Detroit goalie who saved them from a real thrashing.
how come hockey players cover their face when a puck is coming on the bench but in play when someone takes a slapshot they just stare at it or go on and block it without ever covering their face
That was a great hockey game! The Maple Leafs had some outstanding chances. It could have easily been 5-1 or 6-1 Toronto!!
