    Not for nothing but the goaltending for Edmonton was absolutely horrendous. I don't know who coaches these goalies or how they get away with playing the way they do. This goalie is down on his knees 5 seconds or longer before the puck is even shot! Even shot from the blue-line instead of coming out to the top of the crease cutting down the angle and covering more net. On four of those goals he left the entire top part of the net wide open plus he had no side to side mobility being down like that. Nobody plays a stand-up style anymore these days but a hybrid style that Martin brodeur used is perfect for today's game. Allen for the Canadiens is guilty of playing that same shitty style always going down way before he should leaving the whole damn top of the net open. Am I the only one that thinks this? I think he's a terrible goalie and Montembault is alot better. I just hate the way Allen positions himself and plays goal.

    Allen had a 'great' game and McDavid had 'no' points.. Great win by the Canadiens , Guess the Habs don't want Bedard ……… and a win without Caufield, Slafkovsky, Edmundson, and Monahan. Awesome

    Yeah, oilers, sell off everything to trade for more offense and even less defense in Karlsson. Thats CLEARLY EXACTLY what this team needs most. More defensive holes for slight more offense you don't need. Then pay a premium for it all plus mortgage your future in draft capital, esp considering you would need SJ to retain majority of remaining salary which gonna cost u more. Yeah. get it done ASAP. Never mind finding anyone who can actually defend. Who needs that!?

    You have to wonder how guys are like Pinard across the league and just never got the chance. So much is luck, timing and opportunity.

    He’s seizing it, and I hope he keeps it up.

    Geez Louise…who are these guys?! Free-wheelin', hustlin', head's-up-playin' (instead of heads in posterior). Wow, so much fun watching this team as composed with several prospects making the most of their opps. Cripes, even Allen had a stellar game!!

    wow that 1st oilers goal was clearly goaltender interference. whats the point of rules in the nhl anymore? either nothing gets called or the tiniest thing gets called, no inbetween

    It forever amazes me why a guy with so much talent like McDavid stays with such a moronic team like
    the Oilers.
    Dude, get out of there and get yourself on a real team !

    Edmonton were not in the game, true got back to 3-2 but we're just not able to get into the game Canadiens just the better team.
