islanders made a large comeback from 6th to becoming a decent team almost to the end of the season and looks like they are in for the playoffs
As a Jets fan, I am disappointed about the loss, but I gotta give credit to Sorokin. He was a brick wall again tonight as he has been all year, and helped the Islanders get the dub again tonight. Gotta give him credit for stopping some pretty good scoring chances that we had early on. Go Jets!!
UBS was rocking tonight
Although they have played the most games in the NHL the Islanders are holding up their end of bargain by winning and staying above the playoff cut line. Those teams behind them still have to win those games in hand.
I'm not an Islanders fan, but I am rooting for them to make the playoffs.

As Isles fan this team is so confusing. Look terrible at times but pull wins somehow. The rookie #16 has been a great addition. Looks like beau who they traded away with the speed

Isles managed to win despite the refs best efforts. Extremely soft calls against the isles, one leading to the tying goal, multiple non-calls against the Jets, refs getting in the way of pucks – one of which resulted in a turnover in the isles zone. Crazy how they’re never held accountable, and scrutiny leads to being fined
