    Honestly, i think Buffalo will make the loffs.. its Pitts and NyI i think will be are main competition.. I wouldn't be surprised if Pitts and Ny miss the loffs for either us or Florida.

    If we stand path we will mostly miss it. If we add.. i wouldn't be surprised if we make it 🍻🙏

    I've never really had a huge issue with DJ, but sometimes the Sens' play feels 1 dimensional where if something isn't working, its like the player doesn't know what else to do. I wonder who is responsible for what though, maybe DJ is the guy and he just needs different supporting staff?

    Sogard, Leevi, Greig, Pinto, Ostapchuk, Kleven are untouchable in my mind. People forget we have more prospects coming. So patience. Nothing crazy this week. I loved Pillzy about going for a Benning-like player and see what's available in the UFA market or a team like Calgary if they miss playoffs.

    They are playing a checking line now.The checking line goes out and you should have a shutdown pairing to go with them a checking 5.When the opposition's top line goes out send out the checking line and shut down pairing.Hamonic and a big shut down left shot.Thats Randy Carlyle style he beat Ottawa in the cup like that.I still think a right shot like Weegar or Parayko would make a big difference.Cheers Pillsy have a beer on me

    I saw the locked on Red Wings postgame podcast in my youtube feed last night. I was so tempted to listen in on them crying, but instead listened to the postgame TSN 1200 show, since I could not find yours. Always love your podcasts, keep up the amazing work!!     Arizona needs to realize that Chychrun isn’t 2017 era Karlsson. You’re not gonna get multiple first round picks, AND multiple blue chip players/prospects. You can have TWO max first round quality assets, and some smaller pieces. Let’s be realistic here. That’s what Karlsson got; a first round pick, a first round quality prospect in Norris, and then a bunch of smaller pieces.

    Chychrun should not land more than two firsts and a couple mid-tier prospects like Thomson, JBD, Sokolov, Meriläinen, etc.. Guys like that. Not two first round picks AND prospects that are first round quality (ie. Greig, Pinto). Get bent.

    Edit: I know the market dictates worth, and 2017 was 5 years ago, I’m just using it as comparison. My point is, Chychrun isn’t worth three Ridly Greigs. Cuz that’s easily what two first rounders and Greig is equal to.

    Second edit: Trade is official! Ottawa gives up a (conditional) first round pick in 2023, a (conditional) second round pick in 2024, and a second round pick in 2026. Can’t remember if there were conditions on that last pick.

    I haven’t read the conditions yet, but I’m gonna assume this years first is top 3 or top 5 protected or something. And the second round pick in 2024 may become a first or something if we make the playoffs. Again, those are just my speculations.

    …. As I’m typing this I’m 99% sure TSN just said this years first rounder is top 5 protected. In that case, it would defer to next years first.

    So excited!

    Maybe it was boosted on tv, but the atmosphere at the Corel Tire Place Centre (or whatever it's called) during those 2 games seemed similar to the atmosphere during the epic playoff game vs the Habs when there were 5 fights on the ice.
