  1. The Leafs have an advantage over Boston and Tampa. Not many of their players have been through a long playoff grind. It take a toll.

  2. I say this now Toronto is a better team going down the stretch of the regular season and the first round of the playoffs Go Leafs Go

  3. This is all in vain… They can't compete against Boston. Wasting the future for a chance to win a round is simply futile.

  4. Again east conference rounds will be more entertaining then the playoffs

  5. Go back to old layout this is just dumb. Everyone is exited to watch round 1, you don’t need to make the best teams play each other.

  6. I think the playoffs have to be changed back 1 vs 8 2 vs 7 and so on it’s much better than the way it’s now

  7. I'll believe it when I see it. On paper they've been a powerful team but goaltending and not great defense will likely be their downfall even if they get out of the first round.

  8. So the Leafs are trading away first rounders for a bunch of SLUGS and the Rangers get Kane two draft picks to Chicago — a 2023 second-round pick, which carries conditions to improve to a first-round selection, as well as a 2023 fourth-round pick. The 2023 second-round pick will become a first-rounder if the Rangers make the Eastern Conference finals. I think we can see that DUFUS NEEDS TO GO!!!!

  9. The Leafs are different every year, and it never fails to entertain me when they get beaten in the first round.

Look up "Schadenfreude" in the dictionary and you'll see a Leafs' logo.

  10. It might take more than a 1-8 format to help the Leafs, they might need to be realigned back into the Western conference.

  11. "they're different" …im tired of hearing about the leafs… they're gonna get stomped by tampa in the 1st. again.

  12. O-DOG must be pissed that he can't show off his diamond ear ring with those headphones on.

  13. Leafs have all the pieces a cup champion would need, they're stacked offensively, stacked defensively now, and goaltending has been good with Samsonov, very deep team. Fact is the seeding guarantees that multiple elite teams won't make it past round 1.

  14. LEAFS ARE OUT AGAIN THIS YEAR, NO TEAM NO GOALTENDING THATS WHAT, GOING TO OUT AGAIN IF THEY MAKE THE PLAYOFFS PLAYING LIKE THEY DID AGAINST THE OILERS THIS TEAM IS GOING NOWHERE BUT FISHING
BOT A BAD THING AT ALL.
THEY STINK WORST THEN LAST YEAR AND THE YEARS BEFORE. WE HAD GOALTENDING.
NOT THIS YEAR WHERES THE GOALTENDING AND WHERES THE TEAM.
    SHOW UP WHEN THEY WANT.

  15. They were different every year for 6 years. Nothing s changed thus far.

  16. Remember how “different” they were last year? Leafs are so screwed. Boston and Tampa are too good and they’re not going away. If the top Leafs don’t earn their money every playoff series, they’ll never get out of round 1
