It used to be, just give them a day. Then it switch to just accept that they're going to have a month to celebrate being gay. Now its actively participate in this stuff regardless of your personal beliefs.

Good for them. We had pride night the other day in Arizona, and while I agree hockey is for everyone we don't really need to be forced into special days for people of color or sexual orientation. Just go, enjoy, be with other hockey fans. You are accepted.

I'm not surprised that NHL teams are not jumping to support this. First, a large % of the players are not from the USA. They are Canadian, Russian, Swedes, German…etc. At the same time, most people who are known to "Cancel" people… well, they don't think the NHL is real sport anyway… (like Stephan A Smith from ESPN)… So they just don't care.
