Note: of the 7 goals – 2 were on a power play and 1 was an empty-netter. I'll take the win any way we can get it, but at 5 on 5 Leafs might not be as dominant as the final score suggests. For those thinking playoffs, this ought to give us pause. As well, I'm willing to go with Samsonov as my starter.
good win… but I'm so pissed off that Dubas traded away our future #1 D-Man in Rasmus Sandin… Morgan Reilly is seriously on the decline… the O'Reilly trade was great but everything after that was stupid… look at what Sandin is doing on the Capitals (8 points, +6 in 4 games), while Gustafsson is seriously struggling (0 points, -3 in 4 games)… Dubas got fleeced and he should lose his job for it… Sheldon Keefe doesn't even know what to do with all these mediocre defensemen Dubas dumped on him… and we got significantly weaker in the long term… Rasmus Sandin has flashes of Erik Karlsson level play… and we gave him away.
Murray looks 10 year older than his birth certificate. He plays it too.
Worse part about this for the Oilers is that Murray was definitively the worst goalie.

Not an oiler fan ,but pretty obvious it's hard to beat any team when the referee is their 7 the opponent.
When Edmonton recently beat Toronto there were so many Oilers fans slinging zhit that it was unreal. If Samsonov played this game it would have very likely been 7-2 or 7-1 for Toronto.
