My favorite defenceman ever. Widely credited as the most complete to ever play the position until Lidstrom came along.

I miss those pre-1995 Bruins uniforms.

Still find it weird the Avs retired his jersey after only being there a year.

Just me or does anyone else panic when they see these, thinking it’s an OBIT.

My idol. I was a defenseman and he was always my hero. Even as a Bruins fan, seeing him raise a Cup with another team made my heart happy

It’s always funny seeing Colorado fans think they have some giant claim to this man’s entire career. I’m sure he loves Colorado and getting the monkey off his back…
But that’s likes of Dallas fans tries to claim Brett Hull’s dominant career as their own history.

Never once did he agree to wear a pride jersey. Should be cancelled tbh

The Man. After his time with the B’s I forgot how amazing he was at something that I just took for granted… keeping the puck in the zone on the blueline. He was amazing at it, and made it look so easy that you just never thought about it till he was gone.
His shot was amazing too. Maybe not the hardest, but he had incredible accuracy, and even better was that his shot was usually low on the ice to allow juicy rebounds.
