Woll has shown some brilliant flashes. Ya never know about a rookie goalie. Leafs play a pretty structured system when they are on

Joseph Woll is not the issue. The whole team is a mess defensively.
There is a silver lining here….the Leafs have no reason to be confident enough in Matt Murray to rely on him during the playoffs.
When they were looking down the barrel of 8 games in 13 nights to end the season, they should have begun a 3 goalie rotation including Joseph Woll.
Instead, it looks like yet another injury to Murray has forced their hand to use Woll as the backup in a two man rotation, ….while Murray is now the 3rd stringer when he is healthy again.
This makes the right decision on the netminder pecking order the only decision.
I’d honestly rather roll the dice with Woll. Sami should be fine.
Murray’s always been a hot mess. The leafs still lack the WILL to win regardless of who’s in net. Line juggling has become a real joke!
They will be out in 5 if they have to rely on him.
I'd say play woll the next 4 outta 6 games and find out if he might be ok in playoffs
There are many goalies both present and past who stepped up when called upon at a young age like Woll. Potvin is one of them.
Confidence in Woll? Way more than in Murray that's fer sure

I don't know how the Leafs feel about Woll but he was impressive last year and so far this year, he's looked very calm and confident. He's ready! MO
With Marlies his GAA has been well over 3 much larger sample size – I don't think they are as confident as you think, but what choice do they have. Exactly. None. Thanks to Dubas signing an injury-prone has-been named Murray and not getting a real goalie at the deadline. They are in serious trouble on D and in net going into the playoffs. Trust me.
At this point Woll looks like a better option than Murray. He's played better and overall looks way more calm and collected between the pipes than Murray. Murray when he's in the net is just chaotic and all over the place
