How would you change the draft?
I’d like to propose a « rotten egg » system.
Last place is the « rotten egg » and picks last. Then, everyone else goes in a set order.
From first to last, it would go 31, 30, 29, …, 3, 2, 1, 32.
The other option is for the last 6 teams to play a tournament for their picks. 32 and 31 get a bye, 30 vs. 27 and 29 vs. 28 play lead in games. The entire tournament is held on a day (like the All Star Game). The games are 3 on 3, no periods or stoppage until a team is winning by two. Every team sports Jerseys with a pylon behind their logo. Tickets to the tournament are only sold to people in cities of the bottom 6’s rivals so the audience is just booing non-stop.
