    DeGrom is throwing some nasty stuff right now, considering how early it is. I hope the investment they made in the off-season on the pitching staff will pay off this year. It's time the Rangers got back.

    Several notes:
    1) Wow this game was full of stupidity.
    2) My Royal can't throw the ball to save their lives anymore. Melendezs outfield throw up the line and Witts double hopper made me laugh. We are no longer a team that has good defense and it makes me cringe. Then all of a sudden witt makes that play to nearly save the game???-_-
    3) I went easy on KC offense for twas DeGrom
    4) NATE EATON IS NOT A MAJOR LEAGUER
    5)WHY ARE WE NOT USING AROLDIS CHAPMAN to close every opportunity?
    6) This manager is really getting under my skin

    Another blown game by a bullpen. Mr Bochy showed again why the Giants lost the 2016 NLCS- Your starter had hardly thrown what 87 pitches? And those balls! Greasy balls!

    I swear the Rangers defense is costing them games. Hopefully their pitching can keep up the good performances they have shown so far.

    deGrom looks about as sharp and deadly as any pitcher in the bigs. The movement and velocity of his heater is simultaneously intimidating and a thing of a beauty.

    Royals fan here, well this is the earliest we’ve been eliminated from being relevant. Glad the Chiefs are so good and the draft is coming up soon in our city because it gives us something sports related to be excited about. They are talking about moving the Royals stadium downtown I could care less about this team and I’m not alone in that feeling. New owner is not serious about winning. A lot of moves you could’ve made in the off season to make this team better and you decided to stay the course with Hunter Dozier?

    None of the so called touted young players look any good. They are swinging at balls 5 feet out of the strike zone. Bobby Witt cannot play SS. He boots a routine groundball that led to the Rangers scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning. How it wasn’t scored an error I don’t know. Melendez should’ve worried less about coloring his hair and playing for PR in classic and he should’ve stayed in camp and got more at bats because he looks lost at the plate. If this team doesn’t set the record for losses it will surprise me. The only bright spot is Chapman and he is being misused as a set up man he should be the closer and it really doesn’t matter because they will trade him at deadline.

    Was the second earned run charged to deGrom really fair?? I saw two very make able catches botched in the outfield

    Mets fan here. I just came to watch some highlights of Jake blowing batters away. You Rangers fans are fortunate to have him on your team. Hope he stays healthy and continues to dominate for y'all (except against the Mets).

    Very early man.. nothing accomplished by no means, but don't remember my rangers in first place this early in forever.. I'm pumping the brakes, but this team feels good..
