    Dorion asked fans to be patient. We have been VERY patient for 6 years… that’s why we should be demanding playoffs next year

    Pittsburgh misses playoffs for the first time in 16 years and they clean house meanwhile in Ottawa we are arguing about what exactly a coach's job is and whether or not Dorion or Smith should return. I thought pro sports was the last place where 'trying' doesn't matter. It's about results.

    I am not saying I expected playoffs 100% but to try and spin missing playoffs for the 6th year in a row as a positive will never make sense to me.

    PR is not Pierre's strong suit and 'the amount of slack given' is nuts. It's been 2 steps forward 1 step back for 6 years.

    I can't think of a bigger non-story than Dorion not saying that playoffs are the goal next year. Everyone single fan and member of the Sens organization knows that playoffs are the goal, why does he need to say it? The big pieces are in place, he acknowledges the team will be spending to the cap next year. How many times has Dorion said what the team's goal for the upcoming season is and how many times has it come back to bite him in the ass? Every single time. I get that there's not much Sens stuff to talk about, but a non-story is a non-story and that's not why I follow this show.

    You guys ALMOST stumbled upon a gem I’ve been sitting on with that whole Methot-thought thing. For about a year now, I’ve been telling people Marc Methot should have a TSN segment called “The Methot Process.” Wouldn’t that be dope?

    The funniest thing to me about the Leafs situation is, even if they DO beat Tampa, everyone’s attitude is just gonna be a sarcastic, “Congratulations. It took you NINETEEN years, but you finally won A series.” Capital A. Would have won ONE series in this hypothetical scenario… in 19 years. That’s still pretty embarrassing.

    But god, just imagine how arrogant those Leaf fans will become just cuz they won 4 games for once. Lol

    Stuzle and Tkchuk both said at that end that they shouldn’t have put so much pressure on the themselves to win the key games. They were listless so many times.
    These guys need a new coach.
    But we need a top one.
