Bench Viny for a game or two. It's not just the game against Vegas. He gave up 2 or 3 goals to LA all on his own as well. Either from bad penalties, defensive errors or giveaways. He needs to get his head in the game. Sure, Broberg isn't leveling guys in the corners, but he can can still tie them up and look for help. He doesn't make me nervous when he has the puck. I haven't seen him with any giveaways or defensive errors. He hasn't taken any bad penalties. He is the definition of a perfect bottom pairing defenseman. I think his play has been good enough to earn him the right to a full 12-14 minute's of play in a game, and if he plays those minutes well he should hold the spot. Spots on a roster aren't given out by theoretical usefulness or charity. If you perform well you stay, if you perform poorly you are out. Work on your game for a couple weeks Viny. If Broberg isn't killing it then we can try again in round 3 once Viny has his head on straight again.
