  1. I am old school, one team has a successful season, everyone else came up short. If your team is happy losing then you should enjoy your participation trophy case. I was surprised that Campbell didn't start. Need to play better 5v5. Good luck next season.

  2. As a Vegas fan I give the Oilers props. They played us hard. The third period tonight they attacked the Vegas net relentlessly. Hill made incredible saves to keep the Oilers from tying the game.

  3. Sometime next season… Pietrangelo will get a receipt from the Oilers for what he did to Leon… just like the way Mikey Anderson eventual got got too.

  4. Just a guess Just a thought I think last game They should have started Soup he has well over 9 average against Vegas

  5. even if they called the high stick they would of reviewed it because it was a double then it would of been called back because the fallow through, stop crying about and for calls

  6. Why was Marchessault standing in front of the net all by himself for his first two goals. Skinner wasn't good enough. Why didn't Woodcroft play Campbell? A $5-million back-up! Yamo was simply too small, he lost too many battles.

  7. skinner is G-A-R-B-A-G-E i cant believe he was still playing! woodcroft should be fired for this 👌💯‼️

  8. You got to think now if the big 2 will resign in edm. This was their chance with colorado out. Big big missed opportunity

  9. Too many passengers
    DR10= the goat, most consistent bottom 6 on the team he’s a keeper

    Foegle= pitbull on the puck

    Nuge= no show, too weak for playoffs

    Hyman= puck protect no finish, how about wrapping the puck once in a while?

    Evan Bouchard= shooting on purpose into shin guards

    Evander= physicality dissipated. Not enough rips on net

    Yamamoto= honey badger with no finish

    Kostin= skating with cement in his boots

    Janmark= invisible

    McLeod= all speed, no IQ

  10. They NEEDED to play Campbell since the second pull in the playoffs but woody kept going for stu for some odd reason

  11. You have more confidence cuz they lost because Colorado won the Cup the next year after getting bounced by Vegas?… Strange optics dude

  12. Statistics for Edmonton Oilers at Vegas Golden Knights May 14th, 2023

    Game 6 Second Round Oilers 2, VGK 5

    Series Ends with Vegas 4, Oilers 2, Vegas advances to the third round

    McDavid 1 Goal

    Foegele 1 Goal

    Kulak 1 Primary Assist

    Ryan 1 Primary Assist

    Kane 1 Secondary Assist

    McLeod 1 Secondary Assist

    Skinner 13 / 17 .765 Save %age (he was NOT good and got pulled after 40, should have been 20)

    Campbell 4 / 4 1.000 Save %age (only had to stop 4 in the final 20 but he did).

    Three Stars (Sportsnet): Marchessault, Hill, Foegele on Sportsnet

    VGK Oilers

    Shots on Goal 22 40

    Hits 22 45

    Faceoffs Won 28 28

    Power Play 0/2 0/1

    Giveaways 10 18

    Takeaways 7 7

    Blocked Shots 28 14

    The above stats show a lot. Oilers peppered Hill and he held pretty firm. They more than doubled the hits, the faceoffs were the same, only one PP for the Oilers (killed) and 2 for Vegas (also killed). Oilers had nearly double the number of giveaways, same number of takeaways and exactly half the blocked shots. Not nearly enough blocks.

    Sixth Game. Do or Die for the Oilers. They died. Goaltending through the middle 20 of the game was bad with Stu letting in 3 (all by Marchessault so he got a hattie). Campbell came in on relief for the final 20 and, while he only faced 4 shots, he took care of all of them. The Oilers weren't blocking nearly enough shots allowing for the more advanced stats. Ignorning that Hill had a great game backstopping the VGK. When the boys got chances he took care of them. I was unable to watch this game so just going off of stats and whatever I could see by replays.

    First, this wasn't a disaster. The Oilers made it to the 2nd round (or further) 2 years in a row. We faced great teams getting there. Time to tweak and adjust. Bouchard is legit. Skinner if okay too but you can't play him night in night out. He's not that type of goalie. He's a tandem. He had many good to great games. He had some stinkers too. It happens, maybe cutting him some slack in his first full year in the NHL might be in order.

    Oilers fans, this is the first year in the window. The window remains open. An adjustment here, a tweak here, it will be fine. Have faith. Take care all.

  13. Haha I’m so optimistic! 31 teams loose out on the cup and Edmonton fell into the vast majority. Excited to see fired up Connor, 200p 82g ss season upcoming

  14. You guys need goaltending. Hands down that stood out even against my Kings. Skinner looked shaky numerous times. I guess you could stick with the kid and hope
