I still find it laughable that Calgary and Seattle have better betting odds to win the Pacific than Vancouver. Neither of those two teams look like they'll be scoring very much at all this season, unlike the Canucks. Edler and Schmidt, two of the team's most prolific players when it comes to giveaways, are not even on the payroll anymore. We also swapped Holtby for a much better tandem partner in Halak. I think the Canucks will easily defy the negative aspect of the metrics being presented before them, such as OEL's defensive liabilities which were present while he was playing for Arizona.
Yes, last chance to prove Green's coaching and his systems work on this team. Now the pieces are there, Green really needs to figure a way to have the team better at special teams and reducing the SA.
