low years, relatively low salary. I’d say that’s a win for the devils.
Considering what he likely would have gotten on the market, this isn’t that bad of a deal. Plus, the Devils have a lot of cap space.
The free agent market is thin, anyone unrestricted is getting overpayed this year.
