Hockey aside, I’d argue the Bears are more popular than the Cubs in Illinois. Also how old is this data btw?
I like how a number of these are university athletics and not professional teams. Kind of unfair to include the gators, for example, when they have teams for most sports.

For North dakota, i’d argue the UND hawks div 1 mens hockey.
I’d bet there’s 3-4 college hockey teams in Minnesota alone that have more fans than the knights do.
That’s just because there’s no NFL, NBA, OR MLB in Nevada. With that being said, fuq da VGK.

I promise as someone who lives in PA the Steelers are absolutely not the most popular team in the state. Hell id argue there’s more Dallas Cowboys and Notre Dame fans here than the Steelers. #1 would 100% be Penn State. You can’t go into a store or restaurant and not see a Penn State hat or shirt at least once

Florida has 9 Professional teams; but a College Football team is most popular in the state!! If that state didn’t have an ocean surrounding it; it would be the most pathetic state in the country.

The #1 thing I got is that football is crazy popular. College football teams are the most popular in some states. Football teams are the most popular on state over as well (Vikings, Cowboys, Seahawks).

Based on Google trends? I look up a lot of shit I don’t like, so this is probably a bit misleading.
Old ‘skins logo gives away that this data is old. There’s a chance this predates the Raiders moving to Vegas, or atleast before actually playing a game in Vegas. If that’s the case, it would be very possible that the Raiders took that spot.
