    Have to wonder if it’s a defenseman. We could use another one.

    Ethan Bear would be interesting because he’s out until December. It would allow Soderstrom to start the season with a spot and prove he deserves one before Bear comes back.

    26 year old mobile right handed defenseman with some offense.

    Throwing my tinfoil hat in the ring and am going to say it’s definitely Bertuzzi even though it’s definitely not. Could see it being Ethan Bear or maybe Caleb Jones as I agree with u/BayouYote. Maybe even Yamamoto or certified cannibal Lemieux for the fourth line if someone doesn’t come up from Tucson to fill that role instead.

    Someone like Comtois who Bear would know well from his hockey Canada days and needs some top 6 time he isn’t going to get most places to be successful. Apparently he’s trying to find his way to Chicago if he can’t get something done with Verbeek.
