I think only god can stop mcdavid. Man is a fucking animal.

If Mcdavid has a “down year” by his standards and scores like 120 points in a full 82, maybe Mack could pass him if he played a full 82.

If Mcdavid misses some games, Drai would probably be the most likely person to dethrone him

I think McDavid will have a « slump year » probably due to injury and McKinnon or maybe a rebounding Matthews does like 115 or 120 to win it

Jason Robertson keeps improving, he had 79 pts in 74 games in 2021-2022 and then 109 pts in 82 games last year. The kid might continue to trend upward but only time will tell.

Looks like there’s a possibility of the top scorer doubling Benn in 2014 within a decade, by the 2024-25 season.

At least that’s what the trend looks like. That would be 174 points.

    RemindMe! 2 years

Didn’t Benn have like a 4or 5 point last game of the season to take over the top spot or something crazy like that?

    McDavid will end McDavids streak

I want to just say Fantilli just to see how upside down ducks fans can get

    Barring injury?

Someone who’s not even drafted yet.

Maybe Bedard can give him a run for it in a few years.

Draisaitl was runner up this last year so I’d bet on him. But if things fall apart for the Oilers. Or injuries. There are some people I can see soaring up the boards to that top spot.

Matthew Tkachuk, if he keeps the amazing form he had during the playoffs, could soar from 109 he finished with last year.

Jack Hughes as well. Finished with 99 at the age of 21 on a rapidly improving Devils squad. I can see him really shining this next year to the dismay of my Rangers but can’t deny talent when it’s there.

Mika Zibanejad only finished with 91 this season, but, the Rangers seem to be redoing their core, again, so he could get more options to gain points as a result. Doubtful but he’s my homer pick as a Rangers fan.

It is wild to see Jamie fucking Benn on this list.

  14. smilecrocodile1

You’d think looking at this list that Jamie Benn winning the points title with 87 points was due to a lockout shortened season lol

Get ready Red Wings fans, Justin Holl is about to rock your world.

One of these things is not like the others

  17. Emergency_Fuel8674

The fact mcdavid had a 105 points in 56 games is insane
