In my opinion, even if we had the #4 seed in the Metropolitan Division this year and went to the Stanley Cup Final, we would’ve still gotten the #1 pick. We didn’t even have to miss the playoffs.

Ranger fans really think adding 1 player to this "deep" team that just got swept will make them a dynasty? Injuries, Slumps, Schedule, Chemistry, Coaching….many factors that come into play. All this talk how this team was built for "These Kind of Playoffs" proved to be very very wrong. I honestly think the Krakken will have a better record then the RAgs

Brian Burke is so correct – having a team from the play-in round win the overall first pick in the draft is ridiculous! Everybody knows that the NHL Draft Lottery is garbage – everybody except Gary Bettman, who refuses to make any changes to this obviously flawed system.
