Simulating that « 10 beers deep » view

  2. GroceryStickDivider

    That’s just NHL ’94

On the glass! Just in a small county arena with old, scratched glass.

The ads also talk about no buffering like illegal streaming sights. I can guarantee that NHL tv had way worse playback than other streaming sites I’ve used lol

Try living in Canada where you live thousands of kilometres away from your favourite team but it’s still blacked out.

I mean, since they signed the ESPN contract and I’ve been able to watch through Hulu, it hasn’t been an issue for me. But goddamn the standalone NHLTV app was atrocious.

When its not blurry, it’s blacked out. What a fucking joke. To the high seas!

Just like what hockey looked like on TV in the 1980’s

This is how I feel about Sportsnet in Canada. Fucking criminal of them to force us to use their shitty ass service.

This is why we needed the blue dot and red streak from Fox in the 90’s

Sportsnet stream is kind of like that too, and you pay $200 for it…

Counterpoint (and not to take the fun out of this joke) but ESPN+ was actually really solid all of last regular season, and I thought the price was really a good value.

One thing I like about ESPN and hockey is that the streaming was slightly better than the previous gamecenter one

I went ahead and bought Bally because I didn’t want to hassle with the high seas. But I live across the country from my home state. No matter, surely I’ll be able to watch anyways, I mean, I paid for it right? Nope.

Hulu TV is not the cheapest option but I pay for it just so I have access to (almost) every NHL game with no blur or screen freezing.

Could be worse, NBATV advertises having every game, except when it’s your home market, on TNT, ESPN, ABC, or NBA. So basically you’re paying to see maybe two sub 500 teams play, maybe.
