Love Nylander and totally agree with Bryan – I've been waiting for this opinion. Use him to the end of the contract. Hopefully he stays. If not – then he walks. But I hope he stays!

One thing I've always liked about Jay is when he screws up he owns it immediately like he did here with Turris/Dubas mistake. Obviously got told he said it but a lot of ppl would ignore it or get mad if ppl made fun of it.
If a players signs an 8 year deal in Toronto lets say at 9 million us. That is 11.5 million Canadian. Would they lose less more than 2.5 in taxes per year? I will puke if we run this back. 7 years. 1 playoff win past round 1. Are you kidding me? Ok then. Screw getting asserts and or cap space back and let nylander walk like you said. You will risk that in hopes of winning a cup this year? Come on. This team is not winning the cup this year. If we make it to the ECF with this team I would be shocked. This room needs a shakeup core wise! It would help reaves get his point across more as well with new faces.
