Has to be Brett Hull. Drafted in the 6th round, 5th all time in goals.

  2. Allatura19

Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Rinne, Alfy… lots of HoF/potential HoF there.

Hornqvist was the last pick of his draft.

  3. LogieThePerogie

Im just gonna say it Wayne Gretzky but for actual drafted player Henrik Zetterberg

  4. Full-Refrigerator389

Pekka Rinne was like 8th round pick if i remember correctly.

Edit: fuck yeah, i am shocked i was right. 8th round, 258th overall

    Including undrafted players…. Wayne Gretzky.

  6. Narcotic-Noah

Underrated player that nobody else will mention, Victor Olofsson

  7. CamaroGirl96

Pavel Bure – I don’t know what round but he was in the 100s

  8. BulbaGodofWar

Cujo and Gretzky come to mind for undrafted players

Late round picks, I think of Datsyuk, Lundqvist, Zetterberg.

Late LATE, gotta be Hornqvist. How cool is it to be the LAST pick end up on a line with the guy that was picked FIRST in that draft? And win a cup? Against the team that drafted you last, no less.

I said it once and I’ll say it again I hate the off-season

Levi once he makes the HOF 🙏🏻

Datsyuk. He was just amazing in every single thing he did

  12. shogun-of-the-dark

Jonathan Ericsson. I kid. It is Datsyuk.

  13. ThatFio

Not the « best » but I gotta give Jonathan Marchessault some flowers. Undrafted and just won the conn smythe and the cup.

  14. lmfl123

Adam Oates and Joe Mullen were both undrafted I believe.

  15. snowtazown

Early and gonna get hate but kirill kaprizov.

The best ever? Easy: Taro Tsujimoto.

Dustin Wolf could be one of the best late round picks of all time. He was picked by Calgary in the 7th round 214 overall. This season he had a .932 save percentage and is the AHL mvp.

    Okay, lots of great mentions here, but I’m just going to point this one out;

Former LA Kings Great Dave Taylor. Drafted in the 15th (!) Round of the 75 Entry Draft. Played over 1100 games, averaging almost a PPG.

  19. J-Bird1980

    Doug Gilmour. Drafted 134th overall.

  20. TheCosmicCharizard

Didn’t Dominik Hasek go like 10th round? I’d argue that’s pretty good for arguably one of the best goalies ever.
