I don’t do impressions
I’m too young to have watched him play, but my dad talks about him a lot. His thoughts are that Carey was an adequate goaltender that benefited a lot from a great defense, and won the Vezina in large part because of that. When the defense declined his flaws started to show, and he never really recovered from that.
Not sure how true that is, but that’s what he tells me.
I still have my Jim Carey, the man behind the mask, tshirt.
I know nothing about him outside the fact that I have a signed stick he played with.
