Ce gars a marqué 170 buts en carrière dans la LNH, et 33 % d’entre eux ont été marqués en une seule saison. Il n’a joué que 7 saisons dans la LNH ! Des formations similaires sont probablement composées de gars talentueux qui ne pouvaient exceller que lorsqu’un athlète supérieur était la star – des gars avec un bon tir qui ne pouvaient pas faire grand-chose d’autre très bien. En tant que fan des Pens, Rob Brown me vient à l’esprit. Brown a totalisé 49-66-115 en 1988-89 sur l’aile de Mario, mais Mario a réalisé un score astronomique de 85-114-199 cette année-là et a remporté de nombreuses distinctions individuelles, menant la course à Art Ross par 31 points sur le finaliste Gretzky et 84. contre son propre ailier Brown. Seulement deux autres fois au cours de sa carrière, Brown a marqué plus de 20 buts dans la LNH, et ces deux saisons ont culminé dans les années 20 tout en passant du temps avec Le Magnefique. Brown a joué dans la ligue pendant 13 ans (avec une bonne partie de AHL/IHL en seconde période) et a accumulé 190 buts, seulement 20 de plus que les 170 en carrière de Cheechoo. Idk about cheechoo chief I’m doing a throw back roster franchise on NHL 23 and he did score 48 in the 2005-06 season. Clearly he’s got the scoring touch it’s not Thornton feeding him free goals
Bernie Nicholls’s 70G+80A was a pretty big outlier. He hit 100 pts (exactly) once, and was close a few other times, but after that season, he never got more than 27G or 75P.
Not quite a one-hit wonder, but definitely an outlier season. Amazing what playing with the greatest player of all-time will do. The injury bug hit, too, but that’s always been a year that stood out to me.
Lonny Bohonos.. 3 goals, 6 assists in 9 playoff games playing with Sundin in 1998? ..as the Leafs reached the Conference Finals… Never saw him again..

The Dynamo Minsk fans LOVE Jonathan Cheechoo. I couldn’t believe how many cheechoo jerseys I saw when I went to a couple games in Belarus a few years ago.
Definitely not the biggest, but Andrew Raycroft has gotta be on this list.
