Sid and TJ are the only two bright spots in a miserable Fall sports season this year in Pittsburgh!
To me personally , 87 retiring as a penguin And the multiple things he has done for this franchise and this city (3 cups) I feel like that’s more important than winning. So if this team starts to decline over the r next few seasons I will be loyal to Crosby. Although I think we bounce back and make a wild card spot.

It's only preseason but the power play didn't seem to click at all.
musings…Dont know why anyone should disagree with what you said about Sid and to a lesser extent Malkin and Letang. I watched quite a bit of last nights game hoping to wash away some of the stench of the Steelers game.. It got a bit chippy at times for the pre season. The announcers called Zohorna's number quite a lot..Drew's not so much. I have mixed feelings about Carter…Comparing him to someone who was clearly on the ice last season when he shouldnt have been (#8), he's miles ahead of that. Carter actually had quite a bit of jump last night on the wing and still can provide some value to this team I think albeit with limited minutes. The Pens may have too many toys on the PP. Karlsson is magic. I think the fan base is often too quick to fully embrace certain players and to ridicule others on the Steelers and Pens.
