    My hot take….(this has nothing to do with MacEwen getting hurt) but they should have given that 3 year league minimum contract to Watson instead. He kills penalties and is good for a few goals against the Wings. MacEwan has been terrible all preaseason

    I can’t say I’m not disappointed with how Pinto and Norris have been handled. Between them not being able to come to terms with Shane and the cryptic nature surrounding Norris’ injury it doesn’t bode well for Sens’ fans hopes of getting off to a hot start. Don’t get me wrong I’m happy the season is here, I just wish we didn’t have two members of the core on the sidelines. Good pod boys, regalar season this week. Go Sens Go!

    Ugh! Such a tough situation….. You can see why Dorion has kept Branstrom. Played great in Winnipeg and they know that they can slide him in as a top lefty if Sanderson or Chabot injured. Great luxury that not too many teams have.

    Not gonna lie guys, looking at this roster with no money left, I ain’t feeling too good! Without Norris and Pinto, we are thin and the lines don’t look too good. We need some sort of miracle for the 2 missing guys…and soon!!!

    Excited for the start of the season! That center depth though…wow. Hope the boys can hold the fort until Norris returns and Pinto is finally extended.

    Even with Josh Norris going on LTIR, it only buys time, as Pilzy mentioned. My question is what was Dorion's plan? You always had to move somebody, did he think it was going to be easier the more desperate we are? It's not is fault about Norris but he deserves a lot of criticism here. It's shocking to me that signing Pinto wasn't a priority this summer.

    Not a math gal but that is 21 man roster. So we are short some spares and that is without Pinto – scary!

    Sens up against the cap wondering where the money will come from to sign Pinto. I said on here very early in the year when everybody wanted to give the cat 9 mil "Where you getting the cap space from?". People ignored it but that's ok because Pierre did too.

    The good news is we're in cap hell for only this season next year we'll have plenty of cap space to improve
