It's a nice illusion to think that Cigar City is a local beer sponsoring the Lightning but they sold out five years or so ago and are now owned by the conglomerate that makes Monster energy drinks so not exactly a company or a brand to admire or support. I support the Lightning but there's not a chance I would buy a Cigar City beer.
