I didnt think the hit was dirty or bad
As far as sam carrick goes, that was a unavoidable hit too much momentum 😳 I couldn't understand how bad our play was. Too many penalties wow 5 and a double minor. It just didn't seem like a well coached game. Like a Ekins game.

Yeah it was an unfortunate incident, I thought some of the calls just didnt go Anaheim's way, it feels like the ol' days when we versed the Predators, just the refs would turn the blind eye to the instigator. I thought anaheim did play a great game overall, and honestly the effort from Gibby was where it needed to be, I think I would have started Dostal against Vegas, and then Gibby tonight against the Canes. Anyways looking forward to the Home Opener.

I agree. Knights were better team by far but the boys looked competitive. Minty and lacombe both looked great. So I’m as happy overall as I can be getting beat 4-1.
Yeah I’m satisfied with the way Mintyukov and Lacombe played. Overall the game looked a bit more organized and at first Vegas had a hard time entering the zone. I do think the amount of penalties we had was a bit ridiculous however there was much improvement on the defensive side that can only go up from here. And we have to remember it was the first game back and we were up against one of the top teams in the league right now so it would’ve been quite the challenge to beat them. We were also without two of our top 6 players Killorn and Carlsson too so that probably didn’t help much lol Overall I’m looking forward to this season and hope to see some success and improvement going forward!
