  1. Glad Tampa won, but that goal should have been disallowed. Stamkos clearly made contact with the goalie in the blue paint and impaired his ability to make a save on the rebound before the puck went in. It doesn't matter where the puck hit Stamkos' body on the rebound (leg, arm, hand), it's still goalie interference.

  2. Lifelong rangers fan here. terrible luck but good goal. great play by Stamkos to see rebound and clearly make sure he gets a piece of it and hope it goes in, which it did. nothing to complain about here. igor was phenomenal but just like the henrik days. He cannot score too. Tampa top players outperformed rangers. very simple formula.

  3. Bring in Steve Dangle and ask him is it a Dang it or not.

  4. Looked like a goal in the end. But I can pretty much guarantee that if that had be the Tampa goalie, the league would have overruled the call on the ice!!

  5. Not a big Stammer fan but he really took over this game and has been a big impact player late in his career. Bravo Steven.

  6. Does anyone see the Goalie Interference or are we blind to It. Because it is right there….

  7. This is the NHL rule.Pretty much defines why goal was good..it was incidental contact..rebound actually took it just out of blue paint.(outside goal crease)There was no direct go after goalie not puck contact..

Incidental contact with a goalkeeper will be permitted, and resulting goals allowed, when such contact is initiated outside of the goal crease, provided the attacking player has made a reasonable effort to avoid such contact.

  8. lightning fan, tough break for shesterkin and the rangers, i hate to see it end this way but the puck came out of the glove. i think igor initially thought it was knocked out by stamkos.

  9. I don’t think this goal should of counted but of course stamkos gave the refs sloppy toppy

  10. Punches the puck in, then jumps like a school girl to take the attention away from the fact that the goal shouldn't count. Hate both teams but this is just cringe that this isn't talked about more

  11. See what he did there!? Trying to show it a little bit after he had it in the glove ala, Patrick Roy, and maybe not as pronounced as his Statue of Liberty play, but he definitely tried to show it like it was!! Oopsie!
