Caps are definitely trying. Ovechkin not scoring in four happens ofte. People are yelling and screaming that he’s finished since it’s the beginning of the season. Matthews has zero points in his last three games.
I went to a playoff game in 1984 in Montreal when I was 12 with my dad. Saw the canadiens beat the Nordiques 2-1 and my favourite player Guy Lafleur got an assist.
When I come off the road I usually have two or three games to watch-still have to see the Habs game, but two observations so far…Connor McMichael is bringing it…definitely noticeable, well on his way…
Ovechkin was more involved in those games he was held shot-less than I thought..he missed the net, but was definitely trying. We’ve seen him do this many times in the past. Once he gets “on”, he’ll suddenly get 5 goals in a span of 7 games.
Do foresee additional call ups from Hershey?
