Évaluations des joueurs des Sénateurs d’Ottawa au cours de dix matchs



Les dix premiers matchs de la saison de la LNH ne se sont pas déroulés comme l’auraient espéré les partisans des Sénateurs. Nous donnons donc une analyse rapide de chaque joueur jusqu’à présent. Brandon Piller et Ross Levitan choisissent chacun quatre joueurs qui ont été impressionnants jusqu’à présent et qui ont déçu. Les Sens sont de retour à l’entraînement, nous mettons donc à jour les lignes et le mélange de nouvelles sur les blessures. Artem Zub est une décision de jeu, Erik Brannstrom porte un maillot sans contact et malheureusement Mark Kastelic et Ridly Greig seront blessés pendant plus de deux semaines.     I think Timmy hasn't been playing up to his last year standard and yet hes still PPG, Im excited for him to find his groove and absolutely light it up.

    Kastellic is my biggest disappointment. I was pretty high on him coming into the season but it looks like he is permanently exhausted. Kubalik is disappointing in a sense but this is exactly what we were told to expect from him so its whatever. My biggest surprises are Joseph playing like his AAV, and Zub doesn't look scared of the puck in the offensive zone like he did last year and his play overall has been solid.

    We're such a good faceoff team, there is no way we should be so low in our puck possession stats. We can get possession, but we're giving it right back to the other team. Gotta ask ourselves why that's happening and fix it.

    We need to get turnovers under control. Every game, they're making careless mistakes that result in either goals or grade-A scoring opportunities for the other team

    "They aren't paying attention to detail and keep cheating for offense.

    This team says they play hard and fast but fly-by-stick checks and not playing responsibly just prove they aren't

    It is so important for these players to learn from as many people as possible. From my personal experience, I had a great mentor when I was 20, he was Japanese and incredibly talented.

    His best advice which still resonates with me to this day was "Work smart, not hard."

    This team can really take lessons in that. Working hard can burn you out and lower performance quality."

    After 10 games played: Greig wins player of the season so far for his 2 way play and smashing DeBrincat at home, Tarasenko gets props for producing from the 2nd and 3rd line, and Giroux for being the stable team leader and veteran influence that keeps the intensity up

    Third line makes perfect sense… Chartier is the defensively responsible player on that line!

    DJ will be fired once the season is for sure a lost cause, so that a new coach has about half a season or whatever to implement his systems in real game scenarios, giving him the best opportunity possible for the next season
