I still think mcdavid needs to come back fully healthy and the team will have to dig deep when he’s gone but I think something is bothering him and the situation will only be worse if he plays with it all season

The NYI's need some help with s orange goals. Nelson was brutal tonight. He had so many chances and was missing the net and blowing great scoring chances. You got to give the Pilers credit, but this wasn't a 4-1 dominant Oilers win. The Oilers got some bounces, and that was the game. They haven't been getting those bounces, but tonight, they got them at the right time and walked with the win. I still think there's still quite a bit more work to be done to right the ship in Edmonton because if they were playing a decent team, it wouldn't be 1 -1 in the 3rd. They would've been down a goal or two, and they would've been the team chasing the game late like the NYI's. Take em when you can get them and the fact that it's mid November, and that's the first win at Rexall place. Think about that.
