Didn’t Patrick Kane last year say that he did not want to play for the Islanders?
With what cap space? Is he willing to play for min?
I’m not buying any Kane rumors right now. He’s just begging through the media for someone to give him term, and I don’t think many GMs, especially not Lou, are interested in that.

Please God no. Kane is shot and would not help this team. We’re starting to put it together. I really liked our last 5 games (of which we lost 3). We’re getting there.

He had hip reshaving surgery. He’s is toast. Kane and his agent can talk up all they want that he’s ready to go. But he’s literally one step away from a hip replacement even after the rehaving surgery.

A husband notices his wife’s hearing is deteriorating and decides to visit her doctor for advice. “I can’t speak to my wife directly as she might find it offensive, given our old age” he says to the doc.
“There’s a simple trick you can try to determine her hearing” explains the doctor. “Simply ask her a question at a distance and if she doesn’t hear you, move slightly closer and ask again until she does”.

There was a rumor like a year ago that he’d be interested in the isles due to the USA Hockey connection with lamoriello. Not buying it, even though Friedman is usually pretty damn good when it comes to this. Kane is in his twilight and the surgery he had on his hip is no joke. 3 years ago, I would’ve been all in on Kane being an Islander.
