Who started this rumour about Perry and Bedard’s mother.
Bedard’s mom has got it going on.
It's pretty crazy that Chicago brought in 3 veteran leaders to help Bedard adjust to the league, and 1/4 of the way through the season, Hall is out for the year with an injury, and now Perry is gone for whatever reason. I believe Foligno is the only one left this season. Also, just knowing that Perry did something to get kicked off the team, and with Lucic doing what he did, what is going on this year with veterans? It's usually the coaches we hear about, not so much the players. If these things were to happen, I would have guessed they would happen with younger guys being stupid, not men in their 30's. Everyone in the league is old enough to know better, so it really comes down to lack of maturity, which doesn't form at the same rate/level with everyone.
It's actually wild seeing this go from joking mumblings in chat rooms to the GM of the Blackhawks denying Corey Perry having "inappropriate relations with any member of the team, or their family."
If this was soccer in england, then in every single Blackhawks away game the home crowd would be singing to the tune of go west "whaaat did Corey Perry do? Whaaat did Corey Perry do? Whaaat did Corey Perry do? What the f did Corey Perry do?"

I'm very glad that you made this video without being the person who believes all the rumors. To expand on the video, Davidson came out later and said it had nothing to do with any players or their families and said the rumors are quote "disgusting" and said it was a "workplace matter," probably meaning it involved an employee. I don't believe that after all the Hawks have been through, Davidson would lie about all this. And for people asking for more transparency, this is it because it would expose the other party involved, and that would cause complete chaos. They've swiftly handled Perry in 6 days of the incident reaching the organization, and that's already a huge step in the right direction.
No matter what happens, Bedard is going to have to deal with this for his entire career. Poor kid.

IF that is the rumor that is going around, I doubt it’s true. So I’m not going to assume that the rumor going around is what happened because it’s just too far out there to be believable.
I will say that being a fan of Corey Perry and a hater of Chicago, it’s best Corey got out of that dump before he got shot, Liberal policies have ruined that city for a long time now and no one wants to be there unless they’re stupid. If Bedard has any sense he’d get out now before he ends up like Eichel, McDavid or Draisaitl – wasting years of your career with a bad team.
I would hope that Corey Perry or Chicago make a statement directly indicating what the accusations are so that the truth is out there and other teams could make a decision on whether they want to add Perry to their team or not, or whether Perry wants to play anywhere right now anyways. I know neither probably will but it’s best to get the information out there instead of letting rumors run wild.
I just wish Beauvillier all the luck and success in Chicago now that we've traded him for Mr. Capital Space.

To have a contract unilaterally terminated and the NHLPA having no legal recourse about it….it has to be something really, really despically bad. He slept with a teammate's wife, or he has a gambling problem, or something like that, isn't bad enough to have your contract terminated. It has to be much much worse, so bad that it invokes the morals clauses in Perry's player contract and allows the team legal grounds to cancel it.
So knowing that whatever Perry did has to be so despicable and immoral, the only way the Bedard rumour goes away is if the Blackhawks come out and state the real reason for waiving him. By refusing to refute the rumors by providing more information, all the Blackhawks are doing is reinforcing the story that's already out there. No one outside the team knows what really happened, except that we can infer that it was super despicable and immoral. Shannon coming out and refuting the rumors means nothing, since he doesn't know anything either.

Its probably nothing serious. That's why they cant even speak of it. Rumors are spawned by lack of information and lack of wanting to address the issue. Once this happens it's human nature to speculate and question. We are savages. Don't allow us to be who we are. But they failed at doing this
