Do they not review every time a player is released?
I would imagine the NHLPA does not contest this. It would be quite shocking if after the Kyle Beach stuff that the new internal review/investigation process the Hawks have is not more thorough and legally airtight than anything even the Union has currently. Anything less than essentially being the league’s beacon of workplace safety would be a total failure at this point. They simply cannot afford for it to happen again.
