If they recall Campbell then they aren’t serious about making the playoffs because Campbell has been atrocious in the Ahl just like he was in Edmonton. He’s not the answer in goal and blows my mind they’re even considering this 🤯

I don't have all the answers but Jack Campbell isn't the one management hoped for. I feel bad for the guy but there's a team here that has generational players in their prime. Is it possible for ownership to eat the cost of the contract to let Jack go? Mostly to free up that cap space. I doubt any owner wants to do this and it makes the GM look awful, but that contract is hurting the team.
They honestly should trade Campbell for Elvis. They would need to send someone else to make the cap space work but both players can get a fresh start and Campbell gets out of a highly media and crazy fan bases in Canada, Toronto and Edmonton, and can go somewhere that the pressure isn’t as high to get his mind and game back. Elvis gets his fresh start on a contender and will have to fight Skins for his playing time. Good trade for both teams I think and for both Goalies. If you have to throw Broberg in the trade to make it work then I would. Campbell and Broberg for Elvis.
If Campbell does come up, then hopefully he brings legace with him too

Cambell bouncing back sounds like too much wishful thinking without real substance. This year was supposed to be his "bounce back". I feel they can't afford any more losses caused by 2 or 3 bad goals where they play good but lost because of goaltending. It sucks but maybe cambell should stay longer in the ahl.

Allen, Andersn, Barrron, for $5m Campbell like Andersons contract and Drysital. Oilers need D and habs have plenty in the system. THE MINOR DETAILS CAN BE EASILY WORKED OUT! Anderson finds his form as a power forward and Barron as a #1 D and habs will like Draisitals input…..Finances are more complicated but a prospect will be a distinct possibility!

Oilers still need changes, not just in goal. They have to do it. What teams will be waiting for us in the playoffs? Vegas, Colorado, yes Vancouver and LA will be looking for revenge. Might be others too. They all improved themselves. We must do that too. Adding Zadorov would have been nice. Size and toughness on the blueline. Sucks that he went to Vancouver. All the more reason to despise Vancouver. Butt ugly uniforms too.

I am not sold on zone play fully yet. Zone is technically imo, for lack of talent comparatively to rhe opponents or undersized and we are neither. Man on man should favor the faster more talented players. Even ifhes just tslking about playimg zone for the 2 defenseman??

Gagne should go down. Ernie gives us good pressure in the ozone and we have a definite lack of physicality that he helps a lot. Send Bert, not Ernie!

Did you watch the highlights from lasts nights Condors game, first goal Jack gave up was brutal the next 2 where stoppable pucks and the fourth was a brutal goal also and you could see that in Jacks negative energy after we let that one in
Six starts 3 being good and 3 brutal starts no closer than being a NHL goal then when we was sent down. Oilers a in a position where we can’t give away a game to a bad start from a goalie only real option is to move Jack at all cost, missing the playoffs is not a option and neither is giving Jack one last chance.
Thanks for the update. I would like to see Campbell stay in Bako . He would add uncertainty when this team can’t afford it. Hopefully a trade happens to get help for Stew.
Letting Jack play will be the end of Edmonton’s season. The teams confidence will be gone.
