I mean it look like there not listening to coach staff and there saying if you can’t change the hole team then change one person and it’s coach or coaching staff
It is time for Sullivan to go!!! Too many individuals all over the place. Defense doesn't want to hit the body, stick check only and can't do that right. Too many passes for intercepts and scoring chances for other team. Sullivan has NO ANSWER😊
At least I can fallback on the Yotes (my West team) for that high level of play I've come to expect.

I'm at a loss with the power play. They are trying new things, but thing is every time they try something new it just makes it even worse. I remember a lot of people, myself included, thought Karlsson would make the power play almost automatic, but yeah that couldn't be further from the case. On the defensive side of things I do not like Ryan Graves at all I've concluded. He's the softest 6'5 dman I've ever seen. I don't mean he needs to fight or anything like that, but he just does not use his body whatsoever. Doesn't lean on anyone, doesn't bump people off pucks. He also has awful hands. That contract that Dubas gave him is looking like a huge mistake, I think they misevaluated him. Ludvig and even Shea have both been outplaying him.
It's a PP problem, yes, but a whole new coaching staff should've of been brought in to start the season. He's still because of the extension, won two cups and the Boston connection to the ownership. It's so obvious. He had a say who the new GM would be & everything. He complained last season about players etc, not saying I don't blame the players, but who's in control of the players? SULLIVAN! Sullivan can take charge & he doesn't, that's bad in fact he's the head coach of this team. When this team fired Hextall & brought Dubas in, a whole new coaching staff should've been brought in as well. Again, PP is awful & the net minders are being slaughtered with shots.
100% crosby looked lost every second of OT last night. Ive never been one to move onfrom sullivan after the 2 cups but he wont change the system and refuses to do so the personal on his staff has only gotten worse each year theres no upside with keeping sullivan
Hunters idea of putting the Crosby line out there with their regular D is a smart idea. This shows also that the problem is Genos game has fallen off this month
I think just giving these stars roles on PP not direction just roles. Make someone a shooter, they can go anywhere but they can only one time. These players are overthinking it.
We should stop calling it the "power " play and start calling it the man advantage.
Thank you hunter, for the last two weeks I have been saying just play the top two lines as the top two pp's. You are a more patient man than I , hahhahha. Let's hope rak comes back soon and the thirdline can be re united. I think that will help the depth, maybe not for contributing goals but at least for momentum. Forecheck, shut down, etc.

Two real options here as you said keep the first line as pp1 with petterson/letang hopefully they score and dont need the second unit, second have the opponent run Malkin get him mad and watch him take over the game, you know when you get under his skin he becomes a one man wrecking crew, if this dont work fire everyone dismantle the team and move from Pit
I do think a trade or 2 is going to have to be made to improve the team, and possibly a coaching change on the PP. Maybe not canning Reirden all together because he's done great work with the defense but just bringing in someone who can fix this power play, because this is plain unacceptable. But as far as current free agency goes, Zach Parise is still out there and he scored 21 goals last year. Do you think it might be worth a shot?
