The chrome helmet trend needs to die.
This will go great with their new mascot. iirc: Chrome Willy, the 75ft chrome automaton whale that will swim around underneath the rink. Each time the nucks score the water will be electrified causing Chrome Willy to cry out in pain (for some reason they built him to feel pain, i dont remember why..seems rude) and that is their new goal horn as well. The really fucked part is that orcas are known for breaking through the ice. Just look at the Canucks logo! Ice is breaking! So according to the athletic anyway if Chrome Willy ever learns about Orcas…it’s sort of like, only a matter of time before he completely annihilates the entire Canucks team, or the shovel crew or somebody. Good luck and godspeed, Chrome Willy.

This is dumb the chrome helmets have been horrible. A better idea would be to ditch the orca and atick the skate with the matte black helmets.
