KEEP HIM OFF IT FOREVER. He still turns it over and no one cares bout 100 points or Norris. He's making to much money for nothing teams a joke with him
Not EK 95 fault, Pens far to soft ,pick up Perry !
I don't hate this change as the pp was better last year and that would change a few of these L's to W's. I think the penguins are too stubborn to change systems and I think that is going to be the biggest problem this team faces. I think this team is in need of a fresh voice. A new face to challenge them because 8 years of the same thing will make any team stagnant imo.
Bad news folks…no on-ice personnel changes will fix our problems. The Pens are now the team that allows players to come in and whatever they want with no consequences. Its why 65 picked us. You can pad your stats. You can he tried to lift everyone up coming in here but its not possible. Now he has the apathetic look on his face like everyone else. Im just going to enjoy watching 87 71 58 for the little time we have left.
Sounds like the Penguins organization are either sandbagging or throwing games! If they are unwilling to correct/change the obvious and carry on with what doesn't work, looks suspect!
Lol😂 this was my thought for your mailbag episode yesterday. Let's see "WHAT" team shows up tonight???? 🫣🤔
Reirden runs a trash PP
Pull the goalie when on the PP thus making it a 6 on 4. Who cares if the Pens give up some goals doing it. Scoring 2 or 3 PP goals will get the monkey off their backs. I don't care if they suffer a few losses to accomplish it….breaking out of this PP slump is the most crucial thing for them.
Someone needs to tell the guys on the PP they have to move their feet with and without the puck in the zone, they can’t just think the other teams PK is just gonna let them sit their and pass it into the net. How does anyone on the PP or staff think they can just stop moving and think they’ll be able to score or be a threat on the PP with no movement is beyond me. If they all start moving their feet creating movement in their opponents PK they will open up lanes for passes and better shots leading to more of a threat.
There PowerPlay sucked last year when they didn't even have Eric Carlson
Last year they passed the puck all the time on the power play it was like they're trying to pass the puck into the net looking for the pretty goal. It's the same this year. They want the pretty goal.
I just dont see this change making THE difference for the PP. At least right away. I think it could benefit them to not break an NHL record, but without a different strategy to go along with it, im afraid that the results will probably be the same.
But who knows. I guess we will find out soon against Florida.
