Yikes. Love Crosby and the Pens, but shitty move by Letang. Can’t blame the refs for not catching everything, it’s a fast game. But hope the league does something

Same thing happened during a Boston game. Somehow, they (opposing team, not boston) walked into a stick and got rewarded for it.
He won’t get suspended cause the league is soft but you better believe the refs are gonna get one back on him next time for embarrassing them
Penalties should be reviewable for embellishment. If it looks bizarre, review it and assess the penalty to the embellisher. Letang does this shit a lot.

I’ve never loved a sport but hated a league more.
Yeah it’s a lot easier watching a close up replay in slo-mo to do our at home officiating. Imagine putting on the skates and calling a game at full speed. NHL referees are incredible at what they do you can analyze every play in every sport and find problems on every play.
The Pens are easily the biggest whiners in the league.
Raymond tried the same thing a few weeks back, but at least he put some effort into it. Is Letang just turning into a flopper at this point, and is Kiril supposed to have eyes in the back of his head?

After you watch it a few times it really starts to just look like Letang didn’t notice the stick and tried to get it out of the way at the last second and hit it into his own face. You can see kaprisovs blade turn point towards Letang face just before Letang touches the stick which would definitely startle you.
