    Essensa all the way. People forget he was named to the NHL All Rookie team in his first year, and was also a Vezina finalist in 93/94 I believe (maybe be 92/93 thoughtđŸ€·â€â™‚ïž).

    I will never forget Curt Kielbach yelling out ‘great save Essensaaaaaa’ whenever Bob made a big save.

    Nostalgia says Essensa, but slightly more recent nostalgia says Khabibulin. I remember watching the 96 playoffs and being so happy that the Jets got one more home playoff game before they left. Khabby went off in game 5 and forced game 6.

    Had pleasure meet Ess a couple times in my youth, dude was awesome in the game and awesome out the game just hanging out w community and i bet he still is!
    Pokey such a friendly too, my best bud in elem school was neighbours w him and Pokey came outside to play street hockey w us a couple times. Pokey also gave me and buddy a wave in warm ups when we shouted him a couple times when we snuck down to lower seats for warm ups.
    Fun fact Moe Mantha took over Pokeys house when trades happened so that was cool for us but Moe more of a private dude i guess, didn’t see him much, hope they’re all doing well!
