God it feels good to hear a different voice.
really refreshing hearing jaques talk hockey instead of being waterboarded with the same 4 or 5 keywords from the previous coach.
Avs 12-0…..they are not going to be a tougher team when half the players on the team have had massive injuries previously. They wont risk their career
I said for two years that DJ has taken them as far as he can. This is what we need is a coach like Jacques and his style and holding players accountable something that lacked with DJ
A grumpy, gritty, talented, & extremely methodical avalanche team Vs the nostalgia crew probably won’t work out very well for the latter.

Here’s my opinion – one positive of DJ is that he did develop the top end players well. It’s clear that none of our top picks are Busts. That can’t be said for every high draft pick from other teams lately. It’s not DJs fault that they didn’t fire him when they needed to, like Melnyk passed right when the rebuild was ending and the sale took way too long. I felt bad for him honestly. They just need a guy like Jacques to develop the other side of their game and I’m very hopeful that they will respond well. Go sens!
