I grew up in this era with many of the greats. Roy, Brodeur, Hasek, Richter, etc.
As a Habs fan, I hated playing all these goalies but Hasek was something else. The constant heartbreaks watching him rob players with his acrobatics.
He was amazing to watch.

So many times when the Flyers played the Sabres I’d wonder how good we’d be in the LOD era with a goaltender like Hasek. I know he gave us (and everyone else) fits.

Love his book. Have been reading it when younger. It ended after the Buffalo – dalas nhl finals and he said that it was his last match, he is retiring – so that was a lie haha.
But seriously amazing book with lots of very interesting and unique pictures from his youth. Peak communism éra.
